What are the system requirements to run the Haywood Trader EMS?
Windows 7/10 with 64 bits.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 or more.
Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013, can be download from Microsoft site.
Were do I go to install the Haywood Trader EMS?
The latest .exe installer file can be downloaded from this link. Click to download (.exe) and continue to install the Haywood Trader platform.
How will I get my platform login credentials?
You will receive an email containing the link on where to download and install Haywood Trader along with the login credentials to get you started. Please contact [email protected] should you have any questions.
Using Haywood Trader Desktop & Mobile app
Using Desktop Haywood Trader
- Make sure you received the welcome email with the login credentials, along with the set of instructions to register for the Exchange Market Data. Then please complete and sign it successfully.
- Please note that the Haywood server is available Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM-5 PM EST.
- Please Login using the login credentials provided. (Please lock the locker on the login page, this way your login credentials will be saved for the next time you login)
- On the file tab located at the top of the menu bar, you can save or open your saved layout.
- You can place orders on: Market Level Depth II, Market Level Depth Bai Kai, and Quick Trade windows. Use whichever suits your trading style the best. To be able to place trades, you need to make sure you type in the correct symbol then press “Enter” on your keyboard and select the Destination.
- You can link your windows using the link icon found on the upper right-hand corner of the windows.
- The Charts tab is where you can view the trend of a symbol, in addition to being able to place trend lines, pitchforks, texts, and much more. This can help you analyze the trend of the Market, and thereby helping you make smarter decisions when placing trades.
- The Order blotter shows you daily order activity.
- The Position blotter is where you can monitor both your open and closed positions. You can also use it to review your performance during the trading session.
- The News tab displays current news headlines regarding companies, stock markets, etc.
- The Settings tab allows you to change your settings, like adding columns on the order blotter, and/or switch the color in the Market Depth Level II window. You can even use it to setup Keyboard trading.
- The Account Summary tab shows both the status of your account and the summary of your trading performance.

Using the Mobile App
- For android users, you can download trader2B via play store. For iOS, you can download the HW Trader from the app store.
- Please login using your provided login credentials. (Click on “Remember me” box. This way your login credentials will be saved for the next time you choose to have access)
- Feel free to place the symbols you would like to have on the “Stock Watch” window by tapping (+) on Get Quote. You also have the option to remove a symbol from the list by tapping on the (-) button beside the symbol.
- You can start trading or placing orders by tapping on the added symbols in your watch list.
You can also trade or place an order by tapping on the trade tab located at the bottom of the screen. Type in the symbol and hit “Return” or “Enter” on your mobile keyboard. Select the side along with the order type, and then click “Confirm.” - The Positions tab shows you all your open and/or closed positions. You can also use it to review your performance during the trading session.
- The Orders tab displays your daily orders activity.
- By using the “More” tab, you will be able to see the Account Summary, Calendar, Chart, and the link to the Dashboard.

We advise subscribers to download Anydesk or TeamViewer to allow screen sharing with our support agents. This way our team of dedicated support representatives can work on your troubleshooting issues first-hand.
I’m not able to install the Haywood Trader EMS getting the message: "Cannot Continue. Application is improperly formatted. Contact the application vendor for assistance."
Make sure your Windows system is a Windows 7/10 with 64 bits and it has at least 8 GB of memory. Also check if you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 or more and Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013. Both, they can be downloaded or updated from Microsoft site. To make sure, please turn off any Antivirus if you have any. At the end of all these, please restart your computer and try to download Haywood Trader desktop app again. If your issue persists, please contact support by email: [email protected]

Why am I not able to login Haywood Trader?
Normally traders do not have any issues logging in to the platform. In the case a trader has trouble logging in, it is usually due to the trader’s computer connection with the server. You will need to close the application and simply restart the computer to revive your connection to the servers. If you are still having trouble logging in, please contact our support team at [email protected]
When I login to the Haywood Trader, it says: “You don’t have any Quote Media account. Please register your Quote Media account here”
It means you have not yet registered for real-time market data with Quote Media. Please follow the instructions attached to your welcome email. If you need any help, please contact us at [email protected]
Why isn’t the Haywood Trader turning on my desktop?
First, make sure your computer’s software settings have at least 8GB of RAM and is 64-bit. Second, please check the Task Manager to verify if your computer is being used more than usual by other applications. For further assistance, please provide the support representative your Anydesk or TeamViewer credentials to remote access to your computer.
I get the message: "Cannot connect to the Gateway"
- Please make sure you have the latest desktop version of Haywood Trader EMS. You can download the latest version from this link.
- Please make sure you are logging in from Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5pm ET.
- Make sure your internet connection is good and stable.
- If you did all the above steps, try to login once more.
The platform got disconnected.
Usually when this happens, it means you became disconnected with the Market data provider. So, please check your internet connection, and try to simply log back in.
I get the message: "Password has been expired" on Android Mobile or Desktop app
For Android Mobile Users
-If you get “Password Expired” on Android Mobile, please go on your mobile Settings-Languages and Change language settings to US English
Haywood Trader desktop app
-If you get “Password Expired” most likely your subscription has expired. If you think this is not the case, mentioning your UserID, you can email [email protected]
"Subscription Expired" on Mobile App
If you get “Subscription Expired” on Mobile App, please make sure that UserId starts with capital T for Toro, as is case sensitive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run the Haywood Trader EMS on my Mac?
The Haywood Trader EMS is a native Windows application. Most of our iOS users, have recommended to install Window OS using Boot Camp utility in their iOS computer. Is a pretty straight forward installation recommended by Apple as well. You would need the 64 bit Windows license. (We will reimburse the cost of that for Professional and Advanced packages 3 months or higher subscribers only). You can buy the license from Microsoft or from Amazon. Can I use my own algorithms to trade on Haywood Trader platform?
Yes, we provide C# API access to Toro100 3months or higher subscribers to trade using their own algorithms, please contact us or [email protected] for the test environment and API documentation.
Can I use the platform and the mobile app at the same time?
You cannot be signed in on both the desktop platform and the mobile app because traders will not be able to send orders from both simultaneously.
What does it mean when the account status say, "Closed Position Only"?
When a trader reaches his daily Max Loss during the day, his account will be in Close Position Only mode and he will be unable to send orders or execute trades for the remainder of the day, until the next trading day.
What does the rejection message “Insufficient Buying Power or Account Balance” mean?
That means you could have open orders in the order blotter window, so you will need to cancel all the open orders or check if your open position/s value is allowing to place new order/s.
Can I change my Haywood Trader password?
You can change the password from on the login of the Haywood trader.
Why does my chart data take too long to load?
Check your internet connection, clear cache and cookies. Try to reload your platform.
Why can’t I move the main window of the Platform?
Check if the window is locked

I’m new user, I logged in, but I cannot send any orders.
- Make sure you insert a valid symbol on the Level II window and press “Enter” on your keyboard.
- Select the available Destination under Destination field, you will see all buttons will light up, so you should be good to trade.
